Description:

Six pochoir watercolor plates, original illustrated wrappers bound in. 23x17 cm (9x6½") finely bound in four colors of paneled morocco and decorated in gilt, gilt-lettered spine, top edge gilt; paneled leather doublures, silk moire endpapers. 

Alfred Louis Charles de Musset-Pathay was a French poet, dramatist, and novelist. This autobiographical novel, first published in 1836, is based on his love affair from 1833 to 1835 with George Sand. A wonderfully bound copy.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
