Three parts bound in one. [12], 152, [28]; 158, [16]; [14], 170, [6] pp. With numerous illustrated fold-out plates, each with multiple figures. Title page in black and red. (16mo) 15x9 cm (6¼x4") later institutional brown textured cloth with gilt spine. 

Scarce volume with many detailed fold-out anatomical charts. Anton Nuck was a Dutch physician, internist, anatomist, physiologist and surgeon. He made a name for himself in the field of anatomy and physiology, and is considered a pioneer in the injection of substances into the salivary glands.

Lot Amendments

Rubbing to extremities; a few pages with institutional ink stamp of the Birmingham Medical Institute, early inscription on front flyleaf, small tear at top of half-title near gutter, some repairs to plates, toning and occasional light soiling; overall very good.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
