A mailing flier for the "Poets' Follies of '55," an event presented by Kees and Michael Grieg, being a cabaret of sorts, featuring readings, music and dance. According to the flier, the event was slated to take place "Every Thurs. & Sun., 8p.m." During the January 25 installment , Kees read some of his work along with Lawrence Ferlinghetti of City Lights fame. A stripper from Oakland read from the work of T. S. Eliot, and a jazz band played, with Kees on standup piano. One side of the sheet serves as a full page announcement, while the other side features a review from the San Francisco Chronicle, and a form for reserving tickets. The piece was designed to be folded twice for mailing. Scarce piece of Kees ephemera, with no previous auction records located.
