• 102 pp. Original red cloth, lettered in gilt, patterned endpapers. With early ownership signature. Good amount of  dampstaining and rippling to cloth; 2 leaves detached and laid in; good. First Edition. [1894].
• [12] ad, [2], 101, [2], + [3] ad pp. With additional map of Hawaii at rear, and color plate of volcano. Original red stiff paper wrappers, lettered in gilt, patterned endpapers. General wear to wrappers with some loss to spine strip; else very good. Fourth Edition.
• [13] ad, 103, [9] ad. pp. With additional color map of Tahiti at rear.Thick red wrappers, gilt lettering, red cloth tape spine. Light wear and rubbing to wrappers; very good. Fifth Edition. [1900].

Three of the five editions of this inexpensive guide to the Yosemite region issued between 1894 and 1900. The first, printed in 1894 for the 1895 season, was the only edition available in both cloth and paper bindings, subsequent editions were issued in paper covers only. Currey & Kruska 182.
