Description:

314 pp. Illustrated with 12 inserted color plates including title page plus numerous black & white illustrations by John R. Neill. 22.8x16.8 cm (9x6½"). Light green cloth, color pictorial cover label; black & white pictorial endpapers; in color pictorial dust jacket. First Edition, 1920s Printing.

No advertisements on verso of ownership page; captioned color plates in locations that align with 1920 printing indicate mid-1920s printing. Jacket is from matching period with "Reilly & Lee" publisher's imprint and a blank back flap (Bienvenue & Schmidt p. 68-69).


Lot Amendments

Condition:
Jacket has small dampstains and fading on spine, some loss on edges; faint rubbing on ends of spine; front hinge cracked, clean throughout; jacket very good, volume near fine.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
