A collection of illustrated posters and flyers for events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, mostly from the 1960s: film festivals, art shows, lectures, yoga classes, etc. Includes pieces illustrated by Jim Phillips and Milton Glaser.


  • Don't Cry For Me Babey: Farm Labor Environment by Ernest Lowe at the De Young Musuem, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, 1966.  Flyer illustrated from a b&w photograph. 21.5x25 cm (8½x10"). Light wear and a small stain; near fine.
  • Glaser, Milton, designer/artist. The Third National Student Film Festival. Pauley Ballroom, UC Berkeley. Jan. 26-28. Color flyer. 28x21.5 cm (11x8½"). [n.d.].Fine, or nearly so.
  • Man of Aran & Nanook of the North by Robert Flaherty, Master of the Documentary. Monday May, 20, UC Berkeley. Flyer illustrated from b&w fill still. 28.5x22 cm (11½x9"). [n.d.]  Horizontal crease; else near fine.
  • Phillips, Jim, artist. Swami Satchidanda's Integral Yoga. Capitola and Santa Cruz, CA. Color illustrated poster. 33x26 cm (13x10"). 1972. Light wear, a bit of foxing to backside; near fine.
  • Ruth Armer at Bolles Gallery. Sculpture by James Malott. San Francisco, CA.  B&W illustrated poster. 47x41.5 cm (22¼x16¼"). [n.d.] Some general wear, foxing and some creases; very good.
  • Felix Candela. Thin Shells: New developments in Long Span Domes (The Mexico Olympics Sports Palace) - an Illustrated Lecture. UC Berkeley,  Friday April 11, 1969.Illustrated poster on yellow paper printed in black. 61.5x45 cm (24¼x18"). General light wear, pinholes to top corners; very good or better.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
