 A selection of scarce Bukowski broadsides and ephemera, including a copy of Another Academy, signed by Bukowski.

Includes:

  • Another Academy. Folding broadside 25.5x15.2 cm. (10x6"), tipped inside folding golden-yellow covers 13.3x8.9 cm. (5¼x3½") with gray woodcut cover label of an Oscar mounted to front cover. No. 26 of 250 copies. Signed by Bukowski at the colophon. Krumhansl 35. Black Sparrow Press, 1970.
  • What They Want. Single sheet folded to make 4 pages. Stiff cream wove paper, 20x14 cm (8x5½"). First Separate Edition. A single poem, excerpted from "Love is a Dog in Hell," printed "To celebrate the opening of Maurice F. Neville Rare Books". Krumhansl 59. 1977. 
  • Night Work. Broadside. 16.5x11 cm (6½x4½"). Black Sparrow Press, 1981.
  • Prospectus for Horsemeat. Single sheet of stiff cream wove paper, folded once to make a 20x10 cm (5x8") pamphlet. Letter press-printed in three colors, with an original color photograph of Bukowski at the racetrack taken by Michael Montfort mounted at the center of the front panel. One of approximately 50 copies published in the Fall of 1982. We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
