241 pp. with 44 chromolithograph plates. (Oblong folio) 34.3x44.5 cm (13¼x17½"), original gilt stamped pictorial textured cloth with beveled edges, all edges gilt. First Edition.

Large work full of lavish color plates depicting soldiers on horseback and on foot, mostly in battle scenes.

Condition:
Fraying with small chips at spine ends, front joint starting, corners rubbed and fraying; front free endpaper excised, flyleaves creased, leaves toned and brittle; about very good.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
