Description:

2 page autograph poem, signed. Ink on paper. 22.8x18.5 cm. (9x7¼").

The 24 line poem is an unpublished poem, and begins with a verse from Isaac Watts. Haynes (1797-1839) signs at the end of the poem, "Written in the shortest minute of the longest day, Thomas Haynes Bayly June 22nd, 1835."

Condition:

Faint crease lines from where it was once folded, faintly foxed; very good.
