An early Latin grimoire translated from manuscripts in the British Museum by the author; there are two copies:

• Rebound in maroon leather backed marbled boards, gilt border decorations, lettering on spine and rules in gilt, raised bands, top edge gilt. Number 184 of 500 copies (Faint rubbing to edges of cloth boards and corners; tape repair to title page, blank leaf before halftitle has small tear and occult bookplate sticker).
• Original maroon leather backed green cloth boards, lettering in gilt, top edge gilt. One of 500 copies, number not designated (Considerable wear, repaired with tape to boards; both hinges cracked, spine loose, additional tape repairs to various leaves, page 17 has been incorrectly inserted facing page 23, plates loose at rear and have not been inserted, a few ink markings and notations, some penciled notes on the plates, textblock toned; scarce and deserving of repair).
