2 volumes. Illustrated with 112; 202 photographs including tipped in frontispieces. 24.5x14.7 cm (9½x5¾"); 25.8x19.2 cm (10x7½"), original cloth, lettering in black, patterned endpapers. First edition.

Volumes covering the periods of March, 1901 to February, 1902 and March, 1902 to February, 1903. With essays and photographs including early photos by such luminaries as Edward Steichen, Clarence H. White, and F. Holland Day, Eva Watson Schutze, and Robert Demachy in Volume I; Edward Steichen, James Craig Coburn, Robert Demachy, Gertrude Kasebier, and Clarence H. White in Volume II.

Some wear to cloth boards, Vol 1 spine leaning, joints and hinges of Vol 2 cracked; occasional marginal smudging and foxing, interiors bright throughout; about very good.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
