Travels through Turkestan by the Russian geographer and explorer, who sought but never reached the holy city of Lhasa.

Some staining and wear to covers, evidence of repairs to joints and hinges, endpapers stained; large map with tears along folds, most of them repaired on verso, smaller map with verso reinforcement at fold; overall very good.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
