He has successively served as engineer of Lanzhou Design Institute of Sinopec, deputy mayor of Lanzhou, director of Gansu Provincial Construction Committee, chief planner and director of the real estate industry department, mayor of Changchun, and deputy minister of construction. Chairman of the 10th and 11th China Architectural Society, President of the Chinese Society of Real Estate Appraisers and Realtors, and Honorary President of the China Real Estate Association.
