13 pp. 22.5.5x13 cm. (9x5"), modern quarter morocco & marbled boards, spine lettered in gilt.

Significant address the year following the end of the Civil War, as expansion into the western territories increased, roads were built, Indians treated with and pacified, etc. OCLC/WorldCat lists only seven copies. Blindstamp of the Wisconsin State Historical Society to title-page.

Condition:

A bit of soiling to title-page, very good in fine modern binding.
