Description:

1 page TLs from Charmian London, addressed to Army Goods Store on Market Street in San Francisco. On Mrs. Jack London letterhead, with original mailed envelope. Letter sheet is 14x21.5 cm. (5½x8½").

Signed at the bottom in ink "Charmian London (Mrs. Jack)." The letter asks about obtaining navy trousers that are appropriate for the cold weather expected on her upcoming yachting voyage.

Condition:

A few tiny holes or tears to letter, one edge of envelope torn away upon receipt by the Army Goods Store, plus finger soiling and a few tiny holes; very good.
