Partially printed document accomplished in ink, with 2 gold paper seals. 38.5x24 cm. (15¼x9½").

For the sum of two dollars and fifteen cents, the head of the Mormon Church gains title to 105 square rods and 148¾ square feet of land in Salt Lake City (about 2/3 of an acre) - land was cheap in the Mormon capital, especially if your name was Brigham Young. Signed by Daniel H. Wells as Mayor and James Jack as Notary Public, with their respective seals. Docketed on verso.
