In a leather-backed suede album, which reads on the front cover, "Snap Shots Scott Field Ill." * Also includes 4 real photo post cards, 2 of which feature the Ex-Kaiser Wilhelm II.
The photograph album contains many photos of transport planes, most are captioned in white pencil on the black paper leaves upon which they are mounted. Planes such as "Fokker," "Scout," and "Martin Bomber." Includes some aerial photographs of the base. Several snap shots of pilots and crew of those planes, plus a photograph of "Carr and me," showing the young man who made the photograph album. Many photos of dirigibles, their hangars, some snap shots of the surrounding scenery, plus two great portraits of pilots, each are captioned in the photograph: Major Carl Spatz, of ? fame, at Fort Sill, May 11, 1929; and, Capt. Ira C. Eaker, of "Question Mark" fame, at Fort Sill, Okla. Plus a few snapshots of men in leisure or just posing in uniform. A great album full of numerous mostly aviation snap shots of the late 1920s Air Force Base.
