Ads include: for various balls, bags and clubs; a screen color lithograph for Mennen's Talcum Powder with a golfing scene (ca.1910); Nobby golf ball from U.S. Rubber Co. from Leslie's Weekly on newsprint; "What Your Game Needs Most" by Grantland Rice; Spalding ad - The Clubs that Bobby Jones designed; Clubs of Monel Metal; MacGregor clubs; Roseman Tractor Mower Co.; "The Most Valuable Strokes in Golf" by Jock Hutchison; Wilson Sporting Goods; Good Year Wingfoot Heels for shoes; Hagen Woods and Irons; "What Can Be Learned from Abe Mitchell" by George Duncan; "El Principe de Gales: The King of Havana Cigars" from Havana-American Co., with golfing scene, circa 1910; Pinehurst North Carolina "The Healthiest and Most Perfect Resort in the South (Two Excellent Golf Courses)" with golfing scene of man and woman; "The New Sweaters and Caps" color ad with drawings by Anna May Cooper with 6 women models sporting the latest golfing fashion for women at the time, circa 1900 (large tears to edges). |
