PBA Galleries connects buyers and sellers with an auction platform that is fair and reasonable. Prices are set by competitive bidding to achieve optimum value for both and with fee structures that balance the cost fairly between consignors and bidders. Our buyer’s premium is 25%.
The first step is to browse our catalogues for upcoming auctions. Our catalogues are available by subscription for print catalogues, downloadable PDFs, or on our website with high resolution photographs for each lot. Our cataloguers provide detailed descriptions of each lot with auction estimates and provenance where available.
The property in each auction is available for examination at our regularly scheduled previews prior to each auction, or by appointment. For those not able to preview in person, high resolution photographs are posted on the website for each lot. We are happy to provide additional photographs and supplemental condition reports when requested.
In order to bid with PBA, buyers must be registered. Clients can register online through our website, or by contacting PBA directly. Once registered, a client’s username and password can be used for transactions including PBA LIVE online bidding, absentee bidding, tracking specific items or categories for future auction, and viewing and paying invoices under the MY PBA tab on our website.
All items sold at PBA Galleries auctions are subject to our Conditions of Sale.
