| Color advertising poster, wood engraved from artwork by M. Morsand. 27x17¾" including margins, archivally mounted on thin card-stock with linen backing (slightly larger than poster). |
| Rare color advertising poster for the noted French firearms and bicycle manufacturing company of Saint-Étienne from the turn of the century. They produced an annual catalogue with over 700 pages and thousands of images of various products for sale. States they provide “a great deal of information of every kind needful to Sportsmen, Cyclists, Anglers, Tourist, etc., as well as… Arms, Cycles, Game and Cycle sundries, Fishing, Tackle, Travelling, Sport and Photography appliances.” This poster provides boxed text in twelve different translations (including English) and the twelve months of 1904 in the margins. |

| Slight edge wear with short tears and creases which have been mendec and flattened somewhat with the mounting process, a 1" tear and a ¼" chip (with tiny color re-touch) to "Armes" in title; otherwise clean and bright; near fine overall. |
