44 pp. Illustrated with 4 full-page plates of various Salmons, including frontispiece from a photograph. 7½x5, full straight grain limp red morocco, gilt vignettes stamped within a circle on the front cover, top edge gilt. First Edition.
Inscribed and signed "Merry Christmas, F. Gray Griswold" on the compliments leaf. Written from the salmon's viewpoint, taking place on the South branch of the Grand Cascapedia river and the sea. Privately printed by the Plimpton Press. Bruns G 186.
Condition:
Occasional slight darkening and small rubs (chiefly at edges); else near fine or better. Scarce.
