169, [1] pp. Epilogues by Patricia Miller Sherwood and Nick Lyons. Illustrated with frontispiece from a photograph of Hackle stream fishing. 9½x6, dark blue cloth, wrap-around paper label, publisher's slipcase with paper spine label. One of 300 copies printed by W. Thomas Taylor. First Edition.
Signed by noted angling publisher / author, Nick Lyons, at the start of his written contribution on page 165. A memorial tribute to Alfred W. Miller who wrote under the name Sparse Grey Hackle. Contains a biographical chapter, stories from his WWI service, reprints of letters and essays, his contributions to the Anglers' Club Bulletin, and his famous fishing stories.
