| Signed by Ginsberg with a sunflower drawing and his "AH" mantra all in pencil, dated in Cleveland, 3/19/95 on the half-title and signed by Kitaj on the portraits. Kaddish is considered by many to be Ginsberg's masterpiece. It was written in 1961, five years after his poem Howl had shocked the literary world & brought Ginsberg and the Beat Generation to prominence. Includes a specially printed note from the publisher about the binding, laid in. |
