PBA Galleries COVID-19 Update
March 17, 2020: PBA Galleries offices are closed at least until April 7th. The public health authorities of Alameda County and the City of Berkeley joined the public health officers of six other San Francisco Bay Area counties and announced a legal order directing their respective residents to shelter at home for three weeks beginning March 17th. The order limits activity, travel, and business functions to only the most essential needs.
We fully support our community’s attempt to limit social interaction in order to stop the spread of COVID-19 and keep our employees, customers, neighbors and the rest of our community safe and healthy.
We have postponed our next three auctions: Sale 697 – Art & Archaeology of Asia, Travel & Exploration, Cartography; Sale 698 – Comic Books with Pre-Code Horror, Silver Age Marvels, and Undergrounds: and Sale 699 – Americana, Travel & Exploration, World History, and Cartography. After the sheltering order is lifted we will reschedule these three sales. We will notify all registered bidders by email as well as send out our normal sale notifications. In the meantime, the sales will remain viewable online and open for absentee bidding.
