Lot of two eyedropper-fillers, comprising:

• Waterman No. 0512, black hard rubbed with gold overlay, not hallmarked for gold content, vine & leaf pattern, ball-ended clip, cartouche not engraved. 14K gold circle-vent Waterman (UK) nib, medium flex, later replacement. 130mm.
• Unknown make and model number, black hard rubber, gold-plated repoussé pansy & leaf patterned cap, mother-of-pearl panels flanked by foliate-engraved barrel bands. Waterman (NY) heart-vent nib, slight flex. 141mm. A cobbled-together pen with a Waterman nib, lacking merit as a collectible and offered as a curiosity only. As David Nishimura notes in The Pennant's Spring 2018 issue, "Waterman only offered two models [with mother-of-pearl panels], neither in large numbers, both restrained in appearance with black caps".

Black hard rubber oxidized to a rich chocolate hue, some brassing and discoloring to gold-plating of repoussé cap. Not tested internally.

Mother-of-pearl paneled pen is not Waterman-made; only the nib is Waterman. It doesn't have a cabochon (rather, the domical black hard rubber cap shows through an aperture in the overlay). Waterman 0512 has later replacement English nib.
