Thomas Seymour and Oliver Ellsworth, on the Connecticut Pay-Table Committee, instruct treasurer John Lawrence to "Pay Patrick Thomas the Sum of one pound five shillings for keeping one of the Ticonderoga Prisoners...& charge it to acct of Colony..." Endorsed on verso with Thomas' X.
