[6], xxiv pp, [109] leaves. Two engraved folding maps. (12mo) 18x10.2 cm. (7x4") period calf, spine gilt. Second Edition.

First published in 1776. Includes a map of the North American colonies as well as a map of the West Indies by T. Bowen. “This compact little book was a second time printed for the use of officers going over during the American War" - Sabin 55537.

Condition:

Leather dry and brittle, front cover detached, rear joint and hinge cracked; 2" stub tear to map of colonies; some browning; internally very good.
