Most approx. 8x14 cm. (3¼x5½") or reverse, a few smaller. Most with pencil captions on reverse.

Very nice selection of sharp, clear photographs of the aftermath of one of the great natural disasters in U.S. history. Included are views of the Palace Hotel, City Hall, tents in Jefferson Square, the same in Hamilton Square, the 1st Congregational Church at Post and Mason, looking south from Mission & 4th St., the Temple Beth Israel, Kearny south from Sutter St., and more.

Condition:

A few with nicks to edges, one creased, else very good or better.
