Presidential appointment of Frederick J. Wilson to the rank of Captain of the Third Separate Company of Infantry of the Militia of the District of Columbia. Countersigned by Secretary of War Stephen Benton Elkins.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
