1-page ALs plus a 1-page (folded) sheet music with manuscript music notes and lyrics. 7x4½, mounted along one edge to stiff backing.

From a H. Avery of Philadelphia. The addressee writes, "I have taken the liberty of setting to music your beautiful 'Cradle Song,' 'Rockaby'...if it should meet your approval, I shall be happy to arrange it for Piano and probably publish it." Nice little piece presumably from a fan of the children's poet.

Condition:

A bit of smudging; very good.
