2 Volumes. xxxiii, 650; xv, 638 pp. 7 maps including a folding frontispiece map in each volume. 9x5½, green cloth decorated with gilt roundel image of an elephant, original dust jacket.

With an introduction by Sir Hugh Clifford, this two volume set is an important historical reference text.

Condition:

Jackets heavily chipped, some creasing, dampstain to jacket spine of Volume II; very light edge wear to volumes; short stub tear to frontispiece map; very good.
