Beautiful hand-colored plates accompany a few pages of text on each flower. The text provides a botanical analysis, natural history and the chemical and medical properties and uses. Plates 99 and 100 are bound upside down in the front of Volume II. At rear of Volume II are non-uniform advertisement pages (not uniform in number, size, nor paper stock).
