Description:

15 plates from the Meyers Konversations-Lexikon, a German encyclopedia. Five are chromolithographs 9½x6¼ or the reverse. Additionally there are illustrations on both sides of the plate. Each is matted to display one side.

Including a variety of subjects from the animal kingdom such as crustaceans, lizards, marsupials, snakes, and more. The chromolithographs diagram various headdresses and hair styles from a variety of cultures.

Condition:

Very good or better.
