The friendly letters deal with matters both personal and literary, and include references to Julian Hawthorne's father Nathaniel.

Condition:

Julian Hawthorne's signed carbon is darkened and brittle, chipped at right margin affecting a few words; 1 of Moore's letters with his obituary taped at bottom causing darkening, the others are very good.
