Description:

1 page letter, signed by L. Frank Baum, on "Ozcot" stationary, with border showing covers of 14 titles of books by Baum.

Letter reads: "My Dear [?] & Lou, Miss Dowd wrote me, you enjoyed the Oz books. I am very glad you do. I am sorry I have not a little picture of myself to send you. I have been quite ill lately but am still writing the Oz books for my little friends. Sincerely Yours. L. Frank Baum". The body of the letter is in a hand other than Baum's but is signed by Baum in a different ink at the close.

Condition:

Vertical and horizontal creasing from mailing, some fading, else very good.
