BAL's third printing with page xii misnumbered xvi and with no other pages numbered in preliminary material. BAL 3369.

Condition:

Spine faded, edges worn, cloth split along fore-edge of front cover, hinges cracked, large piece clipped from front free endpaper (approx. 2½x3½); else good.
