These three volumes contain all of the material by William Dampier in the 1729 edition of A Collection of Voyages, comprising reprints of A New Voyage Round the World, A Voyage to New Holland, and others voyages. At the end of the third volume is Lionel Wafer's account of the Isthmus of Panama; the forth volume contained voyages by others. Except for the frontispiece, which is lacking and here supplied in facsimile, the present volumes are thought to be complete as to the necessary complement of plates and maps. Sabin 18373.
