Very fine copy of this posthumous collection of sea stories. The fragile binding is rarely found in very good or better condition and is quite rare in the pictorial jacket. BAL 11977; Sisson & Martens, p. 97

Condition:

Top edge slightly dusty; small rusty spot to fore-edge and bottom edge, else very fine - nearly as-new, in near fine unrestored jacket with inch and a half closed horizontal tear across part of spine and onto front panel; 2 small puckered tears to rear flap fold; some creasing; front flap clipped diagonally from top to bottom taking the "e" from Courage at top of flap, publisher's printed $1.75 price remains at bottom edge of flap.
