Green cloth with initials AR stamped in gilt on front cover, spine lettered in gilt on black background, top edge stained dark blue-gray, pictorial jacket. First Edition, First Printing.

Signed by Ayn Rand on card in black ink, laid down on the front free endpaper. High-spot in 20th century literature. Author's classic novel based on her principles of Objectivist philosophy.

Condition:

Jacket joints split and tape repaired on verso, short chips and tears, light creases, small scuff on front panel, dampstaining to cloth affecting jacket chiefly to rear panel; splits to upper front joint of cloth, green spots to some of the page margins; generally good overall.
