40 volumes. 50x32 mm, limp suede with armorial shield in blind on front covers, spines lettered in gilt, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt; set in original drop-back box with title and contents label affixed to inside of the top; box is 5x7½x1¾". The "Ellen Terry" Bijou Edition.

Charming little set, printed on Oxford India Paper, quite scarce in the box.

Condition:

Some staining and wear to the box, repaired at hinge, discoloration to contents-label; just a little rubbing to spines, volumes near fine to fine, box very good.
