[4], vi, [2], 349, [14] pp. 8¼x5, period tree calf, spine ruled in gilt, morocco label.

Inscribed by (or for?) the president of Harvard University on front pastedown, in ink, and in Latin: "Detur Michaeli Hodge, Collegii Harvardini Alumno, Ex Test. Edwardi Hopkins Armig. Josephus Willard Praes. Consil. PP. et TT. adjur. 3tis. Idus Octobris, A.D. MDCCXCVII." Irish edition published the same year as the London first edition, but without the two folding maps.

Condition:

Some rubbing to spine and extremities; foxing to endpapers, else very good.
