8½x7 on larger artist's board, signed in lower right; Cloke's name, address and telephone number are inked on verso.

Rene Cloke, 1905-1995, began her long career illustrating postcards and greeting cards, later illustrating many books, and is known for her fairies and fairy tales, the latter of which this watercolor is a splendid example.
