Includes: Engraved title-page of the atlas. * Frontispiece portrait of La Perouse. * Four plates containing depictions of watercraft of the east, two per plate. * A bird on a branch, "Promerops de la Californie Septentrionale." First six on sheets approx. 18½x11½; last on sheet 21½x16.

Condition:

Boat plates with stains in lower margins, all with some edge wear, very good overall.
