42 pp. 22 color illustrations by Denslow. 8½x6½, original chromolithograph wrappers, blue cloth spine. First Edition.

The pictures comprise all of the color plates from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, but two of them are pasted down on the insides of the front and rear wrappers, as issued, so only the blank versos are visible. Russell's story is printed on the backs of the plates. Hanff & Greene p.124, Plate 110.

Condition:

Covers and spine worn, several pages at center detachd from staples, overall in good condition.
