[10], v, 188. Illustrated throughout after drawings by Edwin A. Abbey. 11¾x8¾, original beige pictorial cloth stamped in gilt, mustard, red, and black, all edges gilt. First this illustrated Edition.

Beautiful art-nouveau cover design of a radiating sun and drifting flowers. Cover title is "Selections from 'The Hesperides' & 'Noble Numbers' of Robert Herrick." Herrick (1591-1674) was a lyric poet and disciple of Ben Jonson.

Condition:

Mild soiling, mostly to rear cover; owner name to front blank leaf, very good.
