This copy bound with the separately issued volume of plates with separate title page and descriptive text paginated independently. Sabin's note does not mention the main title as having plates nor does he acknowledge the seperate plate volume. OCLC only records the plate volume separately. Authored and published anonymously, the copyright notice records William Duane registering the title "the right whereof he claims as author" in the Pennsylvania office. An exhaustive manual of military training, likely adapted from Duane's earlier "American Military Library" series. (Sabin 20994, note).
