Foreword by James Crumley. 8vo. Deep red cloth, spine lettered in gilt, black endpapers with a gilt-stamped badge design for the Portland Police on the front and rear free endpapers, pictorial jacket. First Edition.

Signed and dated 1/21/97 by the author on the title page. Also signed by the jacket and title page artist and by the publisher on the copyright page. The second detective Hanson novel and the author's second book, after a nine year wait, following "Sympathy for the Devil."
