The first is the first book by Jean de Brunhoff's son continuing the classic Babar series.

Condition:

First jacket worn, sizable chips at spine ends, corners, and to spine itself, some creasing; 2nd jacket with only a few small edge chips and tears; 1st volume rubbed at cover edges, bumps to corners, horizontal crease to front cover; else 1st good to very good, 2nd near fine.
