One of the most ambitious editions undertaken by Rackham. These 12 illustrations are considered to be Rackham's favorites from the 50 that appeared in the 1906 edition of Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens (where they were printed much smaller). Few copies survive intact as the large size of the prints made them suitable for framing. These are the largest Rackham plates ever produced for a book publication. Latimore and Haskell, pp. 39-40.
