Introduction by Oscar Lewis. Illustrated with 43 facsimiles (35 in color) & illumination in gold & colors by Angelo. Folio. Red cloth-backed orange boards, paper spine label, plain white jacket. One of 400 copies printed by Andrew Hoyem.

Signed by Angelo in the colophon. Includes an annual meeting folding leaflet for the Gleeson Library Associates (University of California), April 22, 1979, No. 117 of 300 copies, designed & printed by Lawton Kennedy, with a hand-colored front cover illustration supervised by Valenti Angelo, laid in.

Condition:

Darkening and soiling to jacket, a few edge tears; volume clean and intact, else fine with a very good jacket.
